I guess since this is the first post, I should explain exactly what I’m going to do with this blog. Hopefully I’m not wasting my time, and that someone, somewhere, will find this interesting.

My basic plan is to watch something every day, whether it’s a movie or a TV show, and then leave my thoughts and impressions on it here.  Why am I going to do this, you ask? Mostly because I, like many others, have a love for film and television, and lately I’ve found myself disappointed at the level of media I’ve been experiencing. Most of it just plain sucks. So I guess you could say this is a record of my journey.

Now I want to say it right up front. I am not a professional writer. I’ve never written a screenplay or a novel. I’ve never taken a film studies or theatre class. But I think that getting the perspective of a normal, average guy might be something interesting for once.

How long will this journey take? Who knows - I’m hoping that it’ll end sooner than later. I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see.
